Welcome to our website

This is an on-going record of how we've taken a brand-new Fiat panel van and cut big holes in it to convert what remains into a motorhome. We hope anyone contemplating building a motorhome will find encouragement here. With careful planning, modest diy skills, a few basic tools, and a little determination it can be done.

Whilst the van is fully converted, there are some parts which still have to be finished off - is anything ever really finished? - so those sections may be incomplete.

It's been a busy few weeks travelling around the UK from Scotland to Somerset, stopping off at two excellent Motorcaravan Club rallies along the way. In between we've had the van serviced (at BT Fleet) and a new timing belt fitted - somewhat overdue as Fiat belts are supposed to be changed every five years...

Meanwhile, all is not quite tickety-boo as 'leaks' have appeared within the base unit of our new Dometic toilet; cause as yet undetermined, further investigations with rubber gloves are underway...
